Program Description:
The English department offers a certificate program in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Five courses and a practicum provide the requisite knowledge of linguistics and TESOL theory and methods. In order to receive the certificate, a student must earn a 3.0 average for the courses in the program. Interested students should contact their departmental advisor or the director of TESOL for further information. For information about the Endorsement in TESOL, the public school credential, interested students should contact the College of Education and Human Services or the director of TESOL.
